Christmas 2021

 3 Christmas choices for you... it's a Christmas miracle.

I will have 3 different art doll projects for you to choose from.  All will have a kit or can be purchased made up.  I will film a video tutorial to walk you through the assembly.  Great project idea for Thanksgiving family time or just a great get together activity.  All 3 are easy to assemble. I promise each one looks so much better in person. All more vibrant colors than it shows. No classes will be offered this month at my house. I will be doing a class in Midway at AR Workshop Dec 4th Sat. 1:00 pm( 6 S. 200 W. Midway)

Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.  $50 kit/ $75 made up

Grinch stands 19 in. on a wood base. Cleverly standing just like a Grinch. Holding a present and ornament with fibers. Face has some hand stitched contouring to give him his smirk.  Cindy also holds an ornament for Grinch. chenille hair, silver antenna, hand stitched eyes. Grinch ornament can be moved to this other hand too.




Next:  Chimney Santa $49 kit/ $69 made up

Santa stands 19 inches in a chimney box. He holds iced berries and greenery.  Cute hand painted eyes and stitched nose. Tiny hat with holly berry, candy cane arms and Fur for snow.  Hanging Christmas numbers makes him easy to fit anywhere.  Super easy to make.













And last but not least.... 3 Wise Men $60 kit/ $85 made up

These Wise Men are my favorite. I promise they look way better in person. I love the colors used in them.  The tallest man stands 16 inches all on wood base with dowels.  Each have a gift in their hands, different beards and glittered paper crowns. I used a lot of fibers and trims.  Don't forget the awesome gold shoes.  I debated on the eyes, so I left them off. They can easily be added by a knot or black dot. My plan is to make a Mary, Baby Jesus and Joseph. Adding with an angel and shepherd. Maybe some animals. Depends on the demand.  but I do have a vision...haha
These are easy to make up.

Halloween 2021

 Halloween 2021 is here and ready

Grim

Introducing GRIM  He is a cute little guy who sits 16 in tall with a weighted bum. He has a cute white head and a pointed hoodie hat that drops some spiders. The eyes are the best, hand stitched around the outside and a real like plastic eye on top. It really adds to Mr Grim. He is holding 2 velvet pumpkins and a trick or treat bucket. Lots of ribbon and fibers adorn his neck.  Of course the final detail is his name tag. I just love this collections with the nametags. Collect all of the "Hello my name is?" series with the adorable name tag.

He stands 17 inch tall on a wood base with a body that's wrapped and the coolest painted eyes.  Stiff black lace up shoes and a potion bottle around his neck.  Trick or treat sack and a boo banner make this little guy a classic everyone needs.

August is time for Fall 2021

 Hello Everyone,

Im back again with a few new Art Dolls for Fall.  It feels good to create some new kits and host a class or two. I hope it hasn't been so long that you still would like to come out and create with me. I already have my Art Dolls ready for Halloween and almost finished with Thanksgiving and Christmas, so stay tuned. 

I also have a couple Dolls that will just be sold already finished.            

I have other kits available on the "My Store" tab from the past with the video tutorial to walk you through.

Wendy's Home in West Haven Aug 17th Tuesday.

Each sign up button will have the options of either class, a kit option or a made up for you option. I will also offer a shipping option.


"Candy" 

This little guy is dressed like a Candy Corn and will be fun to put out for all of the season. 
He sits 14in tall. From tip to toe he is 23 inches.  He is adorned in a felt jacket and romper, with a lace front,  pinwheel buttons, hanging tag and fun neck trims.  The bucket hat also has a pinwheel with jewel and a shiny twig. Handmade stuffed candy corn on a stick. Best of all is his painted face. I know this may seem hard but its not. I will walk you through each step. It will be easier than you think. The detail with the stitched nose all adds together to create this amazingly striking Art Doll. You will love him.

"Blythe" the Pumpkin Girl

I really love this little lady.  She turned out so cool and I just love it when that happens.
She stands 23 inches tall on a wood spindle.  She holds a cluster of:fabric pumpkin, fall flowers and greenery, with circle "Fall"pick.  Wood button and cute puffy sleeves.  But my favorite touch is the name tag. I wanted her name to be Blythe. That just seems like the coolest name. I have friend named Blythe and she is cool. I may even create a "name tag Art Doll series." (what do you think?)
Her eyes are painted and nose is stitched. A real wood stick for the stem. She is definitely staying up all season.

Ms Sparkle and Sammy 2021

 Finally back with some new designs for summer.  Im excited to be back and I have a lot of ideas swirling around in my head.  I will also be making up some kit projects we made last year to have in stock on my website, so watch for those.  Thanks for being so patient the last few months.

This adorable patriotic lady stands 18 inches tall with a wood base and dowel legs and stuffed body.  She is simple with a hint of vintage feel. I love the fabrics on her. Handmade firecrackers in one arm and a little flag in the other.  Spun fiber hair, mini buttons and Sparkle sash. I love her cute eyes and button nose.  Easy to make. Sold single or in a pair.  I will be teaching a class in Hooper June 1, 5:00 pm at Wendy Steenecks house. see sign up options. There is so much to love about him.  He stands 21 inches tall to the top of his hat. Wood base and dowel legs with stuffed body. Wool like pants and coat with crazy red fur!  Handmade firecrackers and a mini flag are in his hands. Canvas top hat with explosions.  Mini buttons, fiber hair, adorable eyes and button nose.  Easy to make.
